I first learned about Adam Rostocki’s website Cure Back Pain Network while I was searching for ways to help my own back pain, which I determined was caused and worsened by suppressed negative emotions. I first read Dr. John Sarno’s books and this lead me down the mind-body road and eventually to Adam Rostocki. His website and Facebook pages were a huge help in my full recovery from 2 herniated discs and severe sciatic pain.
As a doctor of chiropractic, it has taken me a long time to get away from the mindset that every pain syndrome is solely structurally based. I read Adam’s story about his own lifelong struggles with back pain and how he dealt with it through addressing underlying emotions and mental thought patterning. Adam was always there to answer any questions I had. This was all relatively new to me and he was a huge help, always encouraging and supporting me, even when I had really bad pain days and would begin to doubt the process. It has been 3 years since my first symptoms showed up and I saw my own MRIs that demonstrated 2 severely herniated discs. I can now say that I am pain-free, lead an active life and more importantly have addressed many of the fears and negative emotions that I didn’t realize I was carrying.
This past year, I was able to attend a Vipassana meditation retreat in which we sat (on a cushion, on the floor) in meditation for 10 hours per day for 10 days. I gained a tremendous amount of insight into the workings of my mind and addressed old, hidden hurts that were causing dis-ease in my mind and body. The fact that I was willing to go to this life changing retreat is a testament to all of the help and encouragement I’ve received in the past 3 years from people in the mind-body community, especially Adam.
Now in my practice, I address the physical ramifications of negative emotions with patients and it’s really brought another dynamic to my clinical expertise that only allows me to serve my fellow man in a more thorough manner. This new way of looking at pain and disease has benefited my patients tremendously and the feedback I get is one of profound gratitude that finally a healthcare practitioner understands their situation.
I continue to correspond with Adam and he is tireless in his service to his fellow humans. The articles he writes are well researched, well written and logically based. He has written hundreds, if not thousands of articles on a variety of different subjects related to human suffering. He never criticizes other healing modalities; he simply writes to inform the reader to explore other possible causes of pain and encourages them to think objectively about the many different modalities available.
Adam is a blessing for those suffering with pain syndromes and health disorders who may have not received help from traditional or structural based medicine. I am extremely grateful to have met Adam Rostocki and owe much of my own good health to him, and I’m sure many other people feel the same way.

It did not take long for me to realize that Adam really knew his stuff when it came to back and neck pain. Through personal experience he had experimented with many back pain cures both medical and natural. Adam had written a book to share his experiences and also created what I considered to be the most honest and comprehensive back pain information site on the web.
What is especially unique about Adam is his ability to work with the many different healthcare providers and back pain patients in a way that both educates and empowers them by asking questions and providing information at the right time, so that they may consider new ways of thinking and explore new ideas and treatment options.
Medical providers tend to get locked into a certain mind-set and Adam would bring us together to expand our horizons. There is no doubt that Adam has a special gift for learning, curating information, sharing and coaching.
I highly recommend Adam Rostocki. Plus, you can trust his word. If he says he is going to do something he will do it. He will treat you fairly and he will always be there when you need him. Thanks Adam and it is a pleasure working with you.

Adam Rostocki is one of the most committed and hard-working life coaches that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He has my highest recommendation. I can assure you from firsthand experience that Adam is deeply committed to his profession. He takes the time to help his clients and develops a keen and thorough understanding of their needs. His knowledge of the field is impressive and his patience with beginners is evident.
Adam’s coaching activities are rooted in his philosophy that when one helps to improve students’ lives, they, in turn, will also help to improve the world around them. He has spent many years of his life developing and refining a holistic mind-body coaching practice that is intended to enhance the health, vocational aspirations and interpersonal relationships of many.
Adam’s own personal journey is inspiring, but has not been without challenges. His own wrestling with debilitating physical pain has fostered him great insight into the chronic pain of others. He works very intently on helping to alleviate the suffering of others and offers them many pain-management techniques from which they can draw. Adam’s consistent and enduring work in this regard has led to the relief of thousands of individuals; his devotion in this regard commands respect and admiration.
Adam’s personality is also endearing. Whenever we have dialogues, Adam’s unique and insightful perspective always provides great stimulus for discussion. Even when he engages with expressed points of view different from his own, Adam is always respectful of different ideologies and perspective: the debates that ensue are lively and thought-provoking.
It has been a deep pleasure working with Mr. Rostocki and I most enthusiastically recommend and endorse him.

I have found Sensei Adam to be a man with many skills and a great understanding of people. He knows love and has experienced pain first hand. He is a man who has knowledge, understanding and experience of the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and financial aspects of living life.
Although Sensei Adam is an educated man, his most valuable asset in my opinion is his own life experiences and the vast knowledge he has gained from his teachers, students and professional clients.
Sensei Adam is the life coach’s coach and is a man beyond reproach, a man that I am proud to call friend.

I became aware of Adam Rostocki in my own work as a Psychologist specializing in chronic pain. He is a life coach who has zeroed in on the issue of back pain out of a bone-deep and heart-felt desire to help people find relief.
Over a long period of dedicated effort, he has gathered together many resources and perspectives. Adam seems to have a strong sense of finding what is right for the individual rather than trying to fit people into a rigid formula. He considers the quality of life of each person he deals with to be his core concern, rather than simply following a formula.
I would recommend Adam as a resource for people who find that chronic back pain or other chronic musculoskeletal pain is affecting their life.

I was asked to give an honest representation of how I truly perceive Adam. Within 10 minutes of being in his presence I realized I was calm, serene and knew I had found my Sensei. I will say without question or hesitation that Adam is the only true Sensei I have ever met.
Adam taught me that Martial Arts are a way of life. I know for a fact that Adam has devoted his life to understanding the human form.
Adam holds nothing back. He is a true teacher, Sensei, Coach…whatever words make you feel comfortable. Adam will give you every bit of knowledge he has ever learned. Most of it learned the hard way. I respect Adam as a man, as a human being and as a friend. Adam gives his heart and soul to every aspect of his life and teaching. I know that I am a better man for knowing him.

Dr. Harold Eckstein:
I first met Sensei Adam over 20 years ago in the context of Karate training. Although he was a first rate instructor, his impact on my life went far beyond the dojo.
I had been suffering from terrible back pain for years already and was close to ending my time of involvement in Karate. Sensei had just written his book Cure Back Pain Forever and was kind enough to give me a copy. I learned that Sensei had a worse back than I, despite his Spartan demeanor during training.
I was lucky to become one of Sensei’s first coaching clients during this trying time and have remained friends with him to this day. I have been fortunate enough to be asked to test and troubleshoot Sensei’s ever-evolving chronic pain coaching program and find it to be revolutionary.
In a world filled with disappointing therapies that treat pain rather than treat people, Sensei is a ray of light in a dark place for many people with chronic health problems. There is simply no substitute for the knowledge and experience he embodies. Sensei Adam has been instrumental in helping me to achieve more in my life, both personally and professionally.

Lizzie Richmond:
I can not tell you the difference that The Chronic Pain Coach made in my life. I am born anew.
When I met Adam, he was so helpful to me in providing me with access to many resources that helped me to take the first few steps towards my transformation. Within a few months, I decided to work with him as a coach and was one the graduates of his 4 month program. I found his mentorship to provide me with the courage and motivation to make some drastic changes in my life.
I used suffer from fibromyalgia and now I live with it. I am not cured, but my symptoms are markedly decreased. I feel and function much better. I returned to work after an absence of 6 years. I fixed many of my broken relationships and began to actively participate in life again. I went back to school and earned an additional degree online. Now have a career that I could have only dreamed about before I even became ill. I am self sufficient and prosperous, despite my FMS.
I was not sure how coaching would work for me. I had tried everything to no avail. However, once I started, I knew I was on the right path. My life is satisfying. Simply satisfying. Who would ever think? I thought life was over and I was just waiting to die. Now I hope that I will live forever.
I can not find adequate words of thanks for Adam. He is not my coach anymore. I am my own coach now. He taught me to stand on my own two feet once more. I am autonomous and alive. I even thrive! My family is thrilled to have their mother and grandmother back! A lovely man, and a lovely soul to be sure.

Marc Peterson:
Sensei Adam, what can I say? He helped me when no one else could. My doctors gave up on me. My wife gave up and left me. My kids were tired of hearing me complain. Hell, I was tired on hearing me complain. I hated myself.
I have chronic back pain. 20 years worth. This is something Adam understands well. We spoke in detail about our experiences before I even got involved in his coaching program. Once we spoke, I knew he was my last hope. I was right to trust that instinct. I can not imagine life had I not tried coaching.
I spent more than 4 months working with Adam. This was my fault. He had prepared me for independence, but I was reluctant to let our connection go. Once I was reassured that I could always come back for help, I went it on my own. I never did need that help, after all. I was prepared for life on my own terms.
I still have some pain, but it no longer controls me. As Sensei would say, It does not make me who I am. I still have lots of work to do in my life to make up for lost time. I have the skills now to keep on keeping on. Most of all, I feel good about myself. No one can take than from me. There is only one person to thank and that is Sensei Adam.

Don Wardy:
I was a basket case, prior to speaking with Adam. I saw 3 different neurosurgeons who gave me 3 different opinions. I was lost, confused, dumbfounded. The pain along with neurological issues brought on deep depression. I was barely motivated to continue on with normal daily routines because basic things like house work, yard work, and sleeping became a hassle. I sunk myself into the internet and researched the spinal injury world where I spent hours and hours on researching and talking to people online. Eventually I came across Adam’s website. I then reached out to Adam to ask a few simple questions about my condition and to my surprise, he took the time to respond. He helped me more than he can ever know to get through the pain of my cervical spinal pain issues.
The mind is so powerful! Realizing on how you can influence your entire wellbeing is just amazing. Fast forward, Adam helped me again in 2011 when my lumbar spine started up and that become another mess. He kept me in check. Adam was there for me during all this, during my brain MRI, during my father’s health situation and during other issues of personal content I don’t wish to put in this letter. I want to thank Adam for his years of service to me as an Educator and Life Coach.
Thanks, Don Wardy
